Hello,
Can you tell me the extension and operation for which you are running the import? You did not mention that in your query.
Also I see this topic is in Pre sale category, you are running import on our demo site? Just to let you know we do not provide support to users with no active subscription.

Hello
I have not tested on demo site or else,
I am looking in the documentation and do not see answers I need.
Before choosing the component instead of doing manually or by database import I wanted to know if it could do and if it will be easy.
Component is com_content with some custom fields.
Thanks

Hi,
The alias will be generated if none is provided, this will be generated based on the title of the article.
https://demo5.rolandd.com/administrator
What type of custom fields are you wanting to import? We have a documentation on the Joomla custom fields that we support.
Let us know if you have any further questions.

I am looking in the documentation and do not see answers I need.Documentation definitely doesn't cover all questions, that is why you can ask us of course. The demo site might be a good place to play with the extension to see if it can do what you want. The demo site can be found at:

is there a tutorial to generate a field within some rules ?What exactly are you looking to do? The most used rule is the Multi-replace rule. This article also has references to the other rules.

I am not very easy with custom fields and I ha to do a quote.
The idea is to create encyclopedic records for aquarium fish with fields
some of which, if I've understood correctly, would be subform fields
example:
But maybe I'm going the wrong way?
Then a single image per item (you can name it beforehand) so I'm thinking of loading it into a folder with the same name as a field or alias.
The aim is to make a basic csv file to give to the person who's going to fill in the data: there'll be more than 1000 files in total.

[**]pH (value to be entered)

Hello,
You can import subform values using RO CSVI but there is a specific format to be used. Check Repeatable custom field section in Joomla custom fields import document. For image you can use Media custom field. That way you can load it to the folder and link it to article on import. If you want to use alias then you can copy alias value to media custom field column using RO CSVI Field copy rule and with RO CSVI Multi replace rule using Add after value operation add image extension to it. These rules are handled in import template. You can try these on our demo website.
