Recurring Payments With RO Payments and Mollie
RO Payments can turn a payment into a subscription: the customer pays once, and the payment provider charges the next payments automatically. This works with Mollie and Stripe.
For a walk through the screens in Joomla itself, click Take a Tour in the top bar of the administrator and start the RO Payments Customers or RO Payments Subscriptions tour.
Initiate payment from an external link
A payment link opens the payment page with the amount, email address and description already filled in. Put it in an email, a message or an article, for example to ask for payment of an invoice.
Automated payment status check for transactions
Sometimes the result of a payment never reaches the site: the customer closes the browser and the webhook fails, or the site was down. The payment then stays without a result. The RO Payments console commands ask the payment provider for these payments, so you can run them from a cron job.
The commands come with the Console - RO Payments plugin, which must be enabled.
I receive a 403 page after payment
A 403 error means Access Forbidden: the server refused the request. After a payment, this usually means a security tool of the site or the server blocks the address the payment provider sends the customer back to, or the webhook of the payment provider.
Error when returning to the website using VirtueMart
In case an error shows up or even a white page when returning to the website, it is possible that the payment plugins are not setup correctly.
