Tell me how to set up a template for replacing product photos and deleting old photos in Virtuemart?

Hello,
Since VirtueMart is a 3rd party extension we have nothing to say about its update. But in general we recommend keeping extensions up to date. May be create a backup of live site and do all the updates on the backup site first to see how it goes and then copy the updates to live site.
Update Virtuemart may take a lot of time to fix errors with the template and cart

Hello,
May i know why you cannot update VirtueMart to latest version? That is recommended option.
Please check Uninstall RO CSVI document to remove the current RO CSVI install. You can then install old version of RO CSVI. Please do remember removing RO CSVI database tables will delete the existing templates You need to make a backup of templates and restore it again after you install older version of RO CSVI. There could be compatibility issues with latest RO CSVI templates when restored on old RO CSVI version.
May i know why you cannot update VirtueMart to latest version? That is recommended option.

Hello,
That explains why you see the error. VirtueMart introduced new fields in its database table in 3.8 version. Since you are using VirtueMart 3.6 version, these new fields are missing in your database and so you are seeing the error. You need to update your VirtueMart or use RO CSVI version less than 7.17.0 to run the import without error.

Hello,
Can you tell me which VirtueMart version you are running? VirtueMart introduced new has_ fields with 3.8 version. You are missing those fields in VirtueMart tables and so there is an error on import.

Hello,
If you are looking at only to replace images, you can use Media Product operation but if you are importing other product details along with replace of images, you can use Product operation for import. Both these templates have Delete image relations field option.

Hello,
In import template on Image tab set Delete image relations field to Yes, save the template and run the import. This setting will delete the existing link between product and images on import and with file_url field in import file, you can link new images to product.
