Hello,
I created this issue as a new topic. This way we are not send emails to the owner of the other topic.

The duplicate error means that the combination of values Base color-product-com_virtuemart-import already exists in database. This can happen if you have VirtueMart custom fields with the same name. Do you have duplicate custom fields if you check from VirtueMart Custom fields page? Can you tell me what is the type of Base color custom field? Is it linked to Multi variant custom field?
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Thanks Tharuna.

It is linked to a multi variant but there is only one custom field named colour. I'm working on a staging version of the data and so deleted the colour custom field and I still got the same error.

Hello,
Since the topic is split there is no actual error message. Could you post the actual error message you get? Since it is a compound key, it could also be another field causing the duplication.
Kind regards,

RolandD

No problem,

The following is shown...

Error
Duplicate entry 'colour-product-com_virtuemart-import' for key 'component_name_table'
The list of available fields is out-of-date for extension com_customfilters. Update the list to ensure you have all fields available.

Hello,
With Multi variant field it is not just deleting the custom field from VirtueMart custom fields page but there is more to it. Multi variant fields are also stored in customfield_params field in #__virtuemart_product_customfields table. We do include these fields when updating available fields. I am thinking there is a possibility of having duplicates of colour custom field in this table. To check that, please do a RO CSVI Custom table export using #__virtuemart_product_customfields table and with fields virtuemart_product_id, virtuemart_custom_id and customfield_params run the export and post the export file. I can check if there are duplicates in the export file.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello,
Thank you for posting the requested file. As i guessed i can see duplicate of Colour and colour in Multi variants customfields_params field. For example check for product ID 35983 and 35985, you can see the ramifications has clabel as Colour for product ID 35985 and colour for 35983. See attached screenshots. There are more such rows in your data. The problem is MySql is not case sensitive by default so insert query is causing duplicate error with update of available fields.

Now to solve this, you can edit the same CSV file and correct Colour string to be consistent in the data and import it using RO CSVI using Custom table import or you can directly import it in PhpMyAdmin.
