Resolved Problems importing Joomla content

Hello Lasse,

I have trouble importing joomla articles I get the following error Status error: 500

Is there any details shown on the screen with the 500 error? We need the details on the error to find the cause and solution for the error. We have a document 500 Internal server error which explains the causes of the error.

Also post the sample of import file and import debug log to check. To get the debug log see How to collect debug information? document.

I'm very new to this and am not really sure what it is you want, there is no more information on error 500.
Sends 2 log files and hopes you can find out what happened.

Hello Lasse,
Thank you for posting the debug logs. RO CSVI debug log do not have any details on 500 errors. They only tell us the details on template, template fields and the queries processed. We need to know the details on the error so to fix it.

Two things

1. Post the export file you are using to run the import. I will run the import here with your file and check if I can reproduce the 500 error.
2. Please check if there is any details of 500 error in your server error log. You can post the error log here so I can check for error information.

i found this log file on server hope it is correct.
Also sends the file I used for import.

Hello Lasse,
That is again RO CSVI import log . We do not get details about 500 error in CSVI debug log. You need to check your server error logs for the details.

In your import template settings on Limit tab set Lines per import to 100 like in the attached screenshot. Save the template and run the import. See if that solves the 500 error. Click on Advanced button if you do not see the Limit tab.

It processed 2300 files ten the error 500 came.
Could i be that it si to manny files to process?
I will  trye to exclude some file to se if that help.

I guess you mean 2300 rows in the file and then you see 500 error.

Could i be that it si to manny files to process?
I will trye to exclude some file to se if that help.

Please try the import with a smaller file and see if it finishes without an error. You can also break import file into smaller files and put them in a folder and import from folder. See the document Import multiple files from folder for details.
