Resolved Getting 500 error when trying to run import

Hello Eddie,
RO CSVI debug log will not give us details on what is causing 500 error. We need to find the actual error with import. To do that I need your template XML and sample import file. I also see you are importing Joomla custom fields for articles. Send me the details of the custom fields as well. Post screenshot and what type of custom fields you are importing. I will run import and check If I can get the 500 error and so the details of the error.

To get the template XML file from RO CSVI templates list page select the import template and click on Backup templates button. Post the downloaded XML file.

I updated RO CSVI 9.10.0 seven days ago and we did not have this issue before that.

Thank you for the files. I see you are doing import from local database. I tried to do sample import in RO CSVI 9.10.0 version with a test table in my local database and it went without any error. You have sent me 25 records in plain text format so was not able to import into my local database table. Can you send the same in SQL format? I will import SQL format data into my local table and check the import.

Thank you for the sending requested data. I am still not able to reproduce 500 error.

This is what I did

1. I inserted the records you sent in to a local database table.
2. Created formattedname, title1, title2, title3, groupsacronyms, groups, phones, offices, email, homepage, portrait, portrait_alt_text as Joomla custom fields for articles. All of them as type Text.
3. Restored import template you sent previously and set local table to my local table in Source tab.
4. Ran import to see if I can see the error.

Import went fine without any error on RO CSVI 9.10.0 version. We now need to find the actual error from your import. You can do that with the help of 500 internal server error document. Find out the real error from the server error log and we can look further.

I found on how to reproduce 500 error. If portrait field is media custom field then I do see the error. I have fixed it with attached patch file. Load the attached patch file and check the import.
