Hello Shirielle,
There is no EasyBlog support in RO CSVI but we do have a custom table or SQL export. Depending on how EasyBlog stores their data, this could be used to migrate to Joomla Articles. With the custom table export or the SQL export you can write your own queries, the custom table export is graphical and the SQL export you need to write the complete query yourself. With this you can export the data you want and also transform it into the format needed for Joomla content.
The custom table export is more limited but if you need more you can use the SQL export.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

Hi,
since this question is very topical due to the situation of Stackideas (the further development was more or less stopped), I wanted to ask if there is anything new regarding Easyblog, i.e. if you support an export in the meantime.

Hello Mike,
There is no new development in terms of Easyblog. Despite the slowdown in development or sort of stopping, we haven't really had people asking for a migration. You found the one topic I remember but it certainly isn't a hot topic. What has been hotter in that sense is J2Store pulling the plug and the subsequent rebranding to J2Commerce by other people. That has been keeping us busy.
Sorry I do not have a more fruitful answer for you.

Hi,
You are correct this is Easydiscuss and I have been looking for alternatives but not found anything suitable yet. So, one of the options might be to go back to Kunena that we used in the past but I am still looking around. It might even be a non-Joomla solution hooked up with Joomla. Lots of testing but still unsure at the moment.
