Hi
I have a problem after import articles.
And using YooTheme Pro for show article. Noting is listing ;o
I must go to article open next save and after that article is visible.
Import root + custom fields.
Column in csv is: (* - this is draft table)
title,alias,stopka,stopka_en,introtext,opis_en,image_intro-,nagranie-,catid,state,language,nagranie,image_intro

That is missing in this csv?
Normal view in blog show article.

Ps. version 8.8.0

Hello,

In such a case, there is something missing from your import file. I am not familiar with YTP but what you can do is the following:

  1. Import an article with RO CSVI
  2. Export that 1 article with all fields
  3. Save the article so it becomes visible
  4. Export that 1 article with all fields again
  5. Compare the 2 exports to see the difference
Once we know the difference we know what needs to be changed in the import file. Feel free to post both exports here as well if you want us to take a look at it.
Kind regards,

RolandD

Hi, thank you for answering.
I check the file.
And missing is publish_up this is standard core Joomla field.
CSVI ad field created this is possible to add publish_up correlated to created.
I ask because i have several csv to import smallest file counts 1500 records. The big 40k ... Manual add or selected row is difficult on that numbers of rows.

Regards.

Hello,
RO CSVI adds current date to created field if the field is not in import file. To use the current date on publish_up field, use RO CSVI Multireplace rule and Date operation. Create and apply the rule on publish_up field and run the import.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

You don't need to set Your field just set Default value to 2022-07-02 09:00:00 and that should be enough. What do you see for publish_up field in import preview page? Can you post a screenshot?

Second thing after import for update, this field I have double record. Even though I have an alias in csv.

Do you also have catid or category_path field in import file? You need both alias and catid or category_path field for Joomla article import. Check the import with both these fields and If you still have issues post the import debug log to check. To get the debug log see How to collect debug information? document.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello,
In your import template settings you have set Use file for configuration to Yes, this setting will use column headers from import file. You need to set this field to No, save the template and run the import. Setting this field to No will use template fields added to template as headers. See attached screenshot.

Yes I have catid.

The alias of existing article and the one in import file are not the same. Existing article has alias "witold-lutosnawski-a-bio-bibliography--bedkowski-stanisnaw--hrabia-stanisnaw" and alias in import file is "witold-lutosnawski--a-bio-bibliography--bedkowski-stanisnaw--hrabia-stanisnaw". Notice the double and single - in front of a. That is the reason article has been added again.

Yes, I know the aliases are different. But they added as I tested. Probably as we chose without configuration file.

Date is not default value, please check screenshot.

I don't understand what you mean here as without configuration file. Can you explain this?

Date is not default value, please check screenshot.

Please remove Multi replace rule from publish_up field. The date is coming from the rule. Once you have the rule removed, default date value will be used.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello,
Alias are not the same in all three articles you posted in screenshot. Please see the -- before a, bedkowski and hrabia. They are different in all three articles.

Do you have language added in import? Please post latest import debug log to check.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello,
Yes. I have.
This is still this same file. One record.

I asked for latest import debug log to check. But looking at screenshot from previous reply shows field are messed up. See marked area in attached screenshot. You need to have fields from import file in same order as template fields.

Is order headline important in a csv file?

Order of fields in CSV should be same as order of template fields added.

If you are still having problem send me template XML file and I will set the template and send. To get your template XML file, in RO CSVI maintenance menu select RO CSVI on first option, backup templates on second option, select your template and download the XML file. Post the XML file.
