Resolved Virtuemart text input custom fields not exportable

Please remove the previous rule created and follow the steps to set the new rule to check if the text ID nummer horloge is available if not replace with empty.

1. Create a Multi replace rule with below Regular expression. Copy the regex and use it in rule. See attached screenshot.

/^(?!.*?\bID nummer horloge\b).*$/

2. In template fields page for product_attribute field set the rule. Save the template field. See attached screenshot.
3. Run the export and check.

I was thinking if this is all not possible, is it possible to just use a custom query? Because this seems a major oversight in this component to be completely honest.

You can write custom query by writing a custom rule plugin. But i am expecting your issue to be solved with above steps. Run the export and let me know.

You can use RO CSVI Multi replace rule and create a rule to find and replace ID nummer value. Apply this rule on product_attribute field and run the export. See attached screenshot.

I only want the ID nummer in the last column, if there is another field i just want the column to be empty.

If you just want ID nummer value, you can do that using regular expression in RO CSVI Multi replace rule plugin with two rule operations as in the below screenshots. But making a column empty if there is another field is not possible with rules and regular expressions.

Apply the rules on product_attribute and run the export. Let me know on how that goes.

So for example in my is ID number, show that else show an empty box?

You need to add product_attribute field to your export template to get text input field data related to order. But remember this field contains all the custom field data stored when an order has been placed. Try and let me know if that is what you expect in export.

Can you tell me if you are looking at exporting text input custom field data related to the order or text input custom field data related to the product?

I just tried this but my whole CSV is getting scrambled.

In your export template on File tab set Text Enclosure field to " (See attached screenshot). Save the template and run the export. Export file should not be scrambled with that.

Isn't there an option to only extract the text input field? Because it's also exporting other fields that are just for display not for data

As of now there is no option to extract only text input field. Please send us the export file. We can see if we can get text input field data using regular expression in RO CSVI rules.

As i mentioned earlier, add fields custom_title, custom_value and custom_param fields to your export template and run the export. See attached screenshot.

We do not support custom field text input as template field in VirtueMart product export however you can use custom_title, custom_value and custom_param fields in export to get the text input field data.
