Resolved Use images stored on google drive without downloading them

Hi,

1. Is it possible to import and link directly images to virtufuemart which are stored on Google drive so they can be used without downloading to local server? If yes, how would that be done?

2. What is difference / how do I setup import file differently for
a) completely new products and
b) existing products to be updated.. Shall I create separate csvs and configurations or can your extension correctly recognize and handle if all is in one single file?

3. Is there any example file/template that you could provide which I can use to fill and avoid any missing or erroneous columns)

We do not have an option to use images from Google drive. You can either use images from local server or download images from remote URL. Please check Import VirtueMart images document for details.

You can have all in one file. Using product_sku field RO CSVI will recognise if the product is already existing and update the record. If the record does not exists then new product will be created.

For a simple sample CSV import file check VirtueMart product import document. You can also use example templates which comes with RO CSVI installation. Check Install the example templates for RO CSVI addons to install these example templates.
