Hello!
I'm a bit desperate now. The import just won't work. When analyzing, the preview shows me the correct data. The preview is also correct when running the template. After running it also shows me that 11 records have been added. But the data don't show up anywhere.

I want to import a CSV file with information about several Joomla articles and I don't know why it doesn't work.

Please for your help!
I'm glad to hear from you!

Hello Chris,
In your import template settings on File tab set Use file for configuration to No, save the template and run the import. This setting tells RO CSVI to either use Column headers from file or template fields added to template. Setting this field to Yes tells RO CSVI to use column headers of file and so not all fields are supported or imported. Do the change and run the import and check.

The systems says "No debug log available".

Please check How to collect debug information? document to get the debug log.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello,

I want to import a CSV file with information about several Joomla articles and I don't know why it doesn't work.
We would love to help you but it is kind of impossible when no information is given. On the main page you can see what information we would like to receive so we can give you a useful answer.

I am however going to take a gamble because seeing the message that records have been added but nothing shows up usually means you are using the ID field when the record does not exist yet. We generally suggest to use the title and alias and let RO CSVI handle the IDs, you can see an example of that in the I want to import articles with categories document with further reference links at the bottom.

Let us know how it goes.
Kind regards,

RolandD

Hi Roland!

Thanks for your reply! I'm looking forward to get this work ;)
Right now I'm using Version 8.8.0
For Testing I created a really simple, small CSV file to see if i get this right. I attached it.
In the final implementation i wanna import pictures, tags and kategories as well.

The systems says "No debug log available".

Is this something you can work with?

Thanks for your help!
