I tried to backup the 'import' tempates from a Joomla 4 website so I might re-use them in the future. But the buton 'Backup templates' does not produce a download / file. The export button on a J3 website does work as expected. But not on the J4 website. On hitting the button there is no error message, the component view is still there, but without the templates in the view.

I am using the latets version of ROCSVI on Joomla 4. PHP 8.1.21.

Do you see any error with backup of templates? You can also backup templates from RO CSVI Maintenance page. Check Backup/Restore Templates document.

But not on the J4 website. On hitting the button there is no error message, the component view is still there, but without the templates in the view.

Do you see this with all templates? Also what if you click on Run template on template edit page? Does the export work?
Kind regards,

Tharuna

I have just tried creating a backup from the maintanance tools. I did show me it was done, but no file was downloaded.

I suspect Akeeba Admin Tools (Firewall) migt be blocking the acces to a folder where the file is / should be.
Maybe I need to add the folder that is used for the templates to the exeptions in the Admin Tools firewall?

I only used CSVI on J$ to impoirt data. That worked OK.

You can give that a try. The folder path you need to add is tmp/com_csvi. See if that helps.
Kind regards,
