Hello,
Just one question on how to manage the replace of the categories to match them with the Google Category.
Do you plan to prepare a more simpler way to do it instead of the simple find/replace?
It will be the best to have something like that:
A table with 2 columns, on the left one category of Virtuemart for each row and on the right a blank field where we can put the number of the Google Category.
What do you think?
Thanks a lot in advance.
Regards,
Davide

Hello Davide,
I am sure in the case of 300 categories or more even the table format is also going to be difficult. Best would be to use multiple rule operations in Multi replace rule with 50 or less categories in each rule operation.

Hello Davide,
Thank you for your suggestion. We feel that Find and Replace with multiple values would be the simplest solution here. But you can still have one category to replace with each row using the + button in Multi replace rule. You can add as many rows as needed, only thing is that it is not in table format.

Hi Tharuna,
yes, I know and I'm using it, but if you have 300 categories or more, it's very hard to use!
Thanks.

Hello Davide,
Not sure if this is something you thought about. You can also import your categories from a CSV/Excel file. In that way, you can maintain the category associations in your preferred spreadsheet and just import them whenever you need an update. Perhaps that is worth looking into on how you can do that in your situation.

Hello Davide,
Yes into #__csvi_rules table.
You can use RO CSVI Custom table import operation and update the modified rule.
