Resolved Exports the product variants?

Hello,
We support export of all VirtueMart Core custom fields in Product export. As of now we do not support Color Swatch extension but we would need like to check how the this extension saves its value in VirtueMart tables for a product so to tell you if CSVI can export the values. If it saves like other core VirtueMart Custom fields then it is possible to export it using CSVI. Can you send us "Color Swatch for Virtuemart" extension so we can test it on our local server?

So i installed Color Swatch plugin, created a test custom field Appcolor and added two values Green and Red for this custom field for a product in VirtueMart. I ran export using CSVI with fields custom_title, custom_value and custom_param(Export fields in CSVI for custom fields) and i am seeing the values exported. Attached is the screenshot of how i have saved the values in products page and the values i see them in export file.

and besides the multiple images CSVI also exports the product description of virtuemart? Because the online example I don't see.

Yes you can, multiple images are separated by a | symbol.

CSVI also exports the product description of virtuemart

Yes, the description is also exported if you add the field product_desc or product_s_desc to your export template. The first is the full description and the second is the short description.

I can't export the color swatch photo links.

The color swatch extension stores images in custom_param field and so you are seeing it along with other parameters on export.

How do I get links to individual photos?

What should I do?

There is no direct way to get the images from custom_param field. You need to do some custom coding to split these image from custom_param field. You can write your own rule plugin to write this custom code.

Please read my initial reply. I mentioned that we do not support this plugin but if VirtueMart stores it as its other core custom fields then CSVI can export the data. I had also sent you a screenshot on how the data will be exported with CSVI. There were no mentions about splitting of Color swatch plugin data in our conversation.

How much is the cost for this job?

Looking at the example, image data has been encoded when stored in database. We need to find it the link that has been encoded or the image itself. We may need to look into this before giving you an estimate.

I would like to export the images of every single color with the reference url as it currently happens with the picture_url.
I would like that instead of the picture_url (primary images of virtuemart) the individual images of the color swatch were exported (by color).

I send you a screenshot where I exported everything we need, "only" the color swatch images are missing and we do not need those (standard) of the picture_url.
