Hello,
I did a test import from FTP with Delete after import set to Yes and the file gets deleted after import. Check if the folder you have the import file has right permission.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello,
Folder default permission should be 755, check if the import folder has this permission set.
Kind regards,

Hello,
Your permission looks fine. Don't understand why your import file does not get deleted. You did not have any problem with import? Just the file is not deleted after import?
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello,
Can you send me a private message of your FTP details used in your import template? I will place a file and test it to see what is happening.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

I have several imports and I have not encountered any other problems beyond this
in all these imports the files should be deleted but it does not happen

Hello,

Does the FTP log show any signs of CSVI trying to delete the file?
Kind regards,

Hello,
Thank you for sending the requested details. You're right, files were not deleted when SFTP protocol is used. I have fixed it with attached patch file. Load the patch file and run your import and check if the file on SFTP gets deleted.
