Resolved Category path export problem

Hello,

I have a category path problem in export file. Product have 2 category in virtuemart admin:
-CB vysielačky vozidlové
--Výrobca Team

But in exported file are:

Vysielačky||CB vysielačky vozidlové|Vysielačky||CB vysielačky vozidlové||Výrobca Team - They seem to be duplicated.
Category separator is ||.

Please where is a problem?

Hello Andrej,
Thank you for the export file.

Vysielačky||CB vysielačky vozidlové|Vysielačky||CB vysielačky vozidlové||Výrobca Team

Product is assigned to two categories CB vysielačky vozidlové and Výrobca Team as per your screenshot and custom table export file which is correct. Vysielačky is root level parent category, CB vysielačky vozidlové| is first level parent category and Výrobca Team is child category. You have assigned product to first level parent category and also to child category. So when you run the export you get two categories assigned to the product Vysielačky||CB vysielačky vozidlové is first category and Vysielačky||CB vysielačky vozidlové||Výrobca Team is the second category. The category_path takes complete path from root level category. They are not duplicated.

Hope that explains the issue.

Hello Andrej,
There must be empty categories records for products in your database and so you are seeing ||. Do a RO CSVI custom table export for table #__virtuemart_product_categories with template fields virtuemart_category_id and virtuemart_product_id. Send us the export file to check.

no, mark || is my setup mark - Category separator
If you wont I'll change it on e.g. ***


Please see attachment - I changed category separotor to *** and the same problem.

Ah ok.

Can you still run the export as explained in my previous reply and post the export file? That will help us to find the number of categories product has been assigned.

With VirtueMart Product import template category tree will be created automatically on import.
