Hello CVSI Pre-Sales Team !
I have a relatively small site to migrate from Joomla v4 to Joomla v4.
I'm doing a total re-write with a fresh start in v4.

There are about 3500 registered site users, in two main permissions groups.
All of these user accounts must be copied to the new site.

And the online sales with Hikashop has about 30 items for sale, these items must be copied to the new site.
The shop also has about 3200 customers that must be copied to the new site.

If I subscribe to RO CVSI to begin this project, will my one subscription handle all of these required tasks ?
Or do I need to subscribe to multiple products to migrate the users and the hikashop data ?

Also, if I begin immediately to use CVSI to bring over the bulk of the users and items now, can I re-run the process later to pick up the last few users right before I go live with the new site ? OR should I wait until the last minute before going live to migrate them all at once ?

Please let me know ?

Regards,
Kent Morrison

Hello Kent,
Thank you for your interest with our product.

There are about 3500 registered site users, in two main permissions groups.
All of these user accounts must be copied to the new site.

We have migration templates which comes with RO CSVI installation. Using that you can move the Joomla users from old site to new site. Please check document Migrate Joomla data using RO CSVI migration templates to know to use the migration templates.

And the online sales with Hikashop has about 30 items for sale, these items must be copied to the new site.

Yes using HikaShop import and export templates you can migrate HikaShop data using RO CSVI.

If I subscribe to RO CVSI to begin this project, will my one subscription handle all of these required tasks ?
Or do I need to subscribe to multiple products to migrate the users and the hikashop data ?

You don't need multiple subscriptions. With one subscription you get access to all addons supported by RO CSVI.

Also, if I begin immediately to use CVSI to bring over the bulk of the users and items now, can I re-run the process later to pick up the last few users right before I go live with the new site ? OR should I wait until the last minute before going live to migrate them all at once ?

You can move the existing records and then update the latest data later. On import existing data will be updated and new records will be created. If you do not want to overwrite existing data we have a setting in template to stop the overwrite.

You can also check sample import on our demo site before your purchase.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
Kind regards,

Tharuna
