Resolved ROPayments 6.6.0 crashes Joomla

Hi Roland,

The latest version of ROPayments released (6.6.0) produces a white screen of death in my Joomla site. In the frontend as well in the admin. After turning on error reporting in Joomla config, I get the following error:



Fatal error: Trait 'Ropayments\Rsformpro\Layouts\QuantityBoxTrait' not found in /plugins/system/rsfpjdideal/rsfpjdideal.php on line 40


Disabling the plugin by renaming the plug-infolder rsfpjdideal solves the problem.
I'm using RSForm Pro 3.0.14

My question is also: why is the plugin loaded on every page, even in the admin area?

My question is also: why is the plugin loaded on every page, even in the admin area?
That is because RSForms requires any plugins to be a system plugin, this causes it to always be loaded. Since RSForms uses the plugin in both the front-end (for rendering the form) and back-end (for rendering the options) it runs, even in the admin area.

Do you have this file in your system?

Which Joomla version are you on? Did you do a fresh install or an update? In case you did an update, from which version did you update?

Hello Steven,

So I setup a Joomla 3.10.2 site with RO Payments - RSForm!Pro 6.5.0 and did an update to version 6.6.0 and there were no problems. Now I wonder if you had any error installing the plugin. What you can do is uninstall the RO Payments - RSForm!Pro plugin and install version 6.6.0 as a clean installation and see if that works for you,
