Resolved Question about non payed invoicing

Good morning,

Is it possible in my Virtuemart webshop using RO payement to render an invoice while not paid (yet). It concerns a business customer who would like an invoice and does not want to order through the webshop. I make the order by hand but then run into the non-payment. For my administration it is nice that the transaction is registered in the web shop. I have read the RO payment documentation but have not found what I think I need.

Hello Reinder,

What you are asking is not possible with RO Payments as there is no transaction to record if there is no payment. The one thing that comes to mind is to use the VM Payment - Standard, which does not redirect to any payment provider.

If you want to use RO Payments, you would create the order, go to your payment provider and cancel the payment. That way you will have a cancelled transaction on record.

VirtueMart only creates an invoice if the order status is set to Confirmed. At least that is the default setting. You could also play with custom statuses to generate invoices for orders that are not paid. That is all outside of RO Payments.
