Hi,

In Joomla I am unable to get into the ROPayments dashboard as it shows this error:(See jdideal-error.png) also the ropayments display is weird and probably has something to do with the same error: (See ro-payments-weird-text.png)

Can this be resolved? I'd love to hear from you

Kind regards,

Hello,

The two issue are not related. This dashboard error is because you have a transaction in your transaction list for an extension that does not have the updated plugin. You have have used RO Payments in the past for an extension that is no longer used, however the transactions are still there and RO Payments is trying to load the plugin for it. If you know which extension that is, the easiest is to install the RO Payments plugin for that particular extension. The other solution is to remove these old entries from the jdidealgateway_transactions table in the database.

The untranslated strings, I think there is an old language file stuck in the administrator/languages/<LANGUAGE> folder with a name like com_jdidealgateway. That language file can be removed.
Kind regards,

RolandD

Hi,

The other solution is to remove these old entries from the jdidealgateway_transactions table in the database.

I can't find any tables with this exact naming I can only find these: (see jdideal-dbtables.png)

I also tried to look for the plugin I can't find anything in the ftp and/or back-end of joomla and it looks like most "jdideal" folders and files are deleted but ropayments still tries to grab the information or something.

Also, whenever I try to update ROPayments manually it won't let me and shows this error: (see ropayments-update.png). I've tried altering the value of tinyint published from 0 to 1 but that didn't change anything.

The untranslated strings, I think there is an old language file stuck in the administrator/languages/<LANGUAGE> folder with a name like com_jdidealgateway. That language file can be removed.

And about the untranslated strings, it seems there isn't a filename that looks like com_jdideal so I think it's displaying the strings because it doesn't have any language to display

Any ideas on these issues?

Thank you in advance for your help

Kind regards,

Hello,

Apologies, I made a mistake with the table name. Thinking about transactions and trying to type something else doesn't always work :D The table name we are looking for is jdidealgateway_logs.

However looking at all the other issues you have, I now think that your installation is severely broken. That would explain the PHP error about the Addon you see because that file is missing and the language strings do not show up because that is missing as well.

First step should be to get the installation to succeed. For some reason Joomla thinks you have a version older than 6.0.0 of RO Payments and because of that wants to run the SQL file that adds the published table. What you can do is rename or delete the published field from the jdidealgateway_profiles table. After that see if you can install RO Payments.

Assuming the installation is successful, then we can see if you can access the component.
Kind regards,

RolandD

Hi,

It seems that deleting the published field from the profiles table worked and I was able to update ropayments to 6.0.2 as a result I can access the dashboard now. (also ropayments isn't displaying the default strings anymore.)
However it seems that ropayments has issues reaching notify.php as shown by the error: (see dashboard-error.png)

Thank you for all of the help so far, and I hope we can resolve the issue a.s.a.p.

Kind regards,

Hello,

The issue is caused by something that is setup on your server. Usually a firewall (AdminTools, RSFirewall, or something like that) or .htaccess preventing the access to the notify.php URL. This script must be reachable otherwise the payment provider cannot send their status update.

RO Payments is just informing you that there is a problem.
Kind regards,

RolandD
