Hello,

I managed to create an export template according to the Google Merchant Center requirements. The import is working but now I need an additional feature for the shipping cost. Is it possible to create a template field with a child element? This is the structure I need:

<g:shipping>
<g:price>0.00 EUR</g:price>
</g:shipping>

Hello,
I have edited the export template now and set the operation to "Google Merchant".

Yes, you need to use Google merchant operation to use custom_shipping field as export field.

The field "custom_shipping" is shown now but the product with the free shipping is missing in the export file. In the other products with a regular shipping fee it seems to be calculated properly.

If a product has no shipping value only the custom_shipping field is not included in export but other details of the product will be included in export file.

Maybe there is a problem because the free shipping product is assigned to a hidden shop category? The hidden category is needed to assign the shipment methods correctly.

Can you tell me what you mean by hidden category? Also please post export debug log to check. To get the debug log check How to collect debug information? document.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Unfortunately I still cannot solve this. In the list of "Available fields" I can see "custom_shipping" (one for Google and another for Yandex) but as soon as I try to create an export field it is not available in the dropdown list. I have checked the Virtuemart plugins but couldn't find anything. I am also wondering what this phrase means:

The shipping prices let you set shipping prices per product based on the product price.

The shipping price I want to assign is independent from the product price. I just need it for certain products with free shipping.

Hello Tharuna,

hidden category means that the product is assigned to multiple categories. One of them is unpublished since it only manages the shipping cost. Nevertheless, it seems that the export is working now. Switching to "Google Merchant" and re-saving the product in Virtuemart did the trick. Furthermore it seems that the g:service node has to be filled with the name of an exisiting shipping method in the Google Merchant Center but this is not mentioned in your documentation. Thanks for your help!

Glad to know that your issues are solved.

Just want to say that the document i linked in my previous post does have a mention about the g:service node in the sample XML output.
Kind regards,

Tharuna
