Hello everybody,

I am now trying for 2 days the export and import of Joomla! Content with XML files. Export is OK. Without modifying the XML file, however, it does not work to import the same file.

Can you provide me with a simple example template so that I can understand the function? But I need XML import / export!

Many Thanks.
Steffen

Hello Steffen,
To import a XML file you need to do few settings in your import template. You can take a look at Import XML file document to know about these settings.

If you are still having problem with your import, post the sample XML file, import debug log and your import template XML. To get the import debug log check the blue box on top of this page .To get the template XML file go to CSVI maintenance menu, select CSVI Pro in first option and Backup templates in second option. Select your import template and click continue. Post the downloaded XML file.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hi Tharuna,

the preview on the Import shows: "Import file contains 10 lines
No supported fields have been found in the import file
"
With other Config the rows in the preview are empty.

See please the XML-File und Template Backup File.

Thanks
Steffen

Hello Steffen,
In your import template on File tab under Record name field you have entered value as alias change that to item and save the template. Run the import and check.
Kind regards,

Tharuna
