We have a web store where we import the products from a csv file. We have just noticed that the importer import wrong prices from one of the products. I am attaching two screenshots where you can see where the importer is failing. I am also attaching the csv file for analysis. I am also attaching the importer script.

Website address: ilovewood.hu/webshop
But, I have now shut down the store because of the incorrect prices.

How can we proceed in this matter?

Thanks!

Hello,
Running import with your template and import file imports price as in import file. See attached screenshot. Please post import debug log to check. To get the debug log see How to collect debug information? document. By default debug log has only 20 entries so change debug log entries settings in Number of lines in log file field in RO CSVI config page and on Site tab to 500, save the config and run the import. Post the latest debug log to check.

Hello,
Thank you for posting the debug log. Looking into product with SKU 22710244023 where the screenshot in your previous post shows price value as 11,23 EUR debug log shows price value was updated as 49.89. Please see the query for price from the debug log for the product.

UPDATE `ilwepitkezo_virtuemart_product_prices` SET `virtuemart_product_id`='14045',`virtuemart_shoppergroup_id`='0',`product_price`='49.89',`override`='0',`product_currency`='47',`product_price_publish_up`='0000-00-00 00:00:00',`product_price_publish_down`='0000-00-00 00:00:00',`price_quantity_start`='0',`price_quantity_end`='0',`created_on`='0000-00-00 00:00:00',`created_by`='0',`modified_on`='0000-00-00 00:00:00',`modified_by`='0',`locked_on`='0000-00-00 00:00:00',`locked_by`='0' WHERE `virtuemart_product_price_id` = '12816'

Hello,

I think you misunderstand me. :-) The price field is OK. The price field is okay, the problem is with one of the custom fields, the name of which is: "négyzetméter ár". I attach two screenshots. One of them from the CSV, the second one is from Virtuemart. Both are completely different.

Hello,
I think you misunderstand me. :-)

Your initial post says importing of wrong prices and there was no mentioning of "négyzetméter ár" field so I was checking with product_price field.

The price field is okay, the problem is with one of the custom fields, the name of which is: "négyzetméter ár". I attach two screenshots. One of them from the CSV, the second one is from Virtuemart. Both are completely different.

The value 11,23 is already existing value for custom field and you want to update it to new value 15,97 from import file. Is that correct?
Kind regards,

Tharuna

You are right, "négyzetméter ár" meaning in hungarian "square meter price". I forgot to translate to you. Sorry for that!

Yes, we noticed the problem there.

No problem at all :)

Yes, we noticed the problem there.

Please load the attached patch file and then run the import. Check if the custom field value gets updated with the patch file.

It looks good at first glance. May I know what the problem was? Also, can we get this patch in a full release? I should use it in the other web stores as well. Thanks.

Hello,
May I know what the problem was?

We added a feature in RO CSVI to support multiple values with custom fields in older version of RO CSVI. With that feature updating of custom field value was not possible. I have extended the feature to support both multiple values and also update of custom fields.

Also, can we get this patch in a full release? I should use it in the other web stores as well.

If you are running RO CSVI 8.5.0 version in your stores you can apply the same patch file sent in my earlier reply.
Kind regards,

Tharuna
