Hello Tom,

The order should be

1. Joomla Categories
2. Joomla Articles
3. Joomla Menus

We have multiple menu's in the site and it is a multi language site.

With RO CSVI 8.4.0 version we have added support for importing associations for Multi language Joomla Menus. associations field has three parts language#menu path #menu type.

An example CSV to use associations is

"alias","component","language","menutype","path","type","associations","link"
"english-menu","com_content","en-GB","en-mainmenu","english-menu","component","nl-NL#dutch-menu#nl-mainmenu|el-gr#greek-menu#gr-mainmenu","index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=1"
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello Tharuna,

Thnx for your answer. It is important that the categories will keep the same id. Otherwise all internal links will not work anymore.
I made a template as in the screenshot. However the id's don't match and also the subcategories are now ordered as main category.
How can I solve this?

Kind regards,
Tom

Hello Tom,
However the id's don't match

In Joomla Categories import template on Options tab set Keep Category ID to Yes, save the template and run the import. This setting will create rows with same ID as in import file. See attached screenshot.

also the subcategories are now ordered as main category.
How can I solve this?

There is an issue fixed with Joomla categories import and will be included in upcoming RO CSVI release. I have attached patch file with the fix to test

1. Load the attached patch file.
2. In Joomla 3 export template add lft field along with other export fields.
3. Run the export and then use the export file for import.
4. Check if the subcategories order issue is solved.
