Hello!
The import template (xml -> Joomla! contacts) works good now. Thanks for all your help on the other threads :)
However: I added a general rule to skip empty entries, and it works fine. Since then I get a message after the template has run:
import-contacts-incorrect01.png
So, RO CSVI tells me that there are 28 "incorrect" entries, 14 entries have been empty and therefor skipped.

My question: How do I find those "incorrect" entries? I cannot see any incorrect contact entry, but that's hard having 220 entries ;-)
What puzzles me also: I know I have 220 entries in the xml file; I also counted 14 empty entries, both numbers are correct? But why 28 "incorrect" entries?

I could not find anything in the log files.

Thanks you very much!

Hello,
After import in the log details page where you see Incorrect entries (on the same page you sent the screenshot) under Log details section click on Filter options button and in the Select option filter select Incorrect. That should list out the incorrect entries from import. See attached screenshot.

Thank you very much for the explanation and your patience (I could have fond this function by myself).

I found out, that RO CSVI logs two failure messages for every entry in the XML, which miss the "name" field:

Not added. Error: Field 'name' doesn't have a default value
Error: Field 'name' doesn't have a default value

That makes 28 failure messages for 14 empty entries (in the xml).
Actually interesting: If there is no skip rule in the import template, there is are no _incorrect_ import log messages, but empty entries go into the database. Which should not happen, because according to the documentation for importing a contact to have a name and an alias field is mandatory (obviously).

So, basic line: I don't need to worry about incorrect imports because these messages come with the empty entries in the xml.
