I noticed that after updating CSVI and VirtueMart 4.2.18 11050 I can't import anything correctly. After import, when I open the product for editing, an error appears as in the attachment

Post import file and also template XML file to check. To get the template XML file from RO CSVI templates list page select the import template and click on Backup templates button. Post the downloaded XML file.

Hi Tharuna,
I am sending what you asked for.
I noticed that this error only applies to custom fields. If I import and change the product name or fields like product_weight product_height, everything is ok.
I also refreshed the list of custom fields in CSVI, but without any positive results

I noticed that products imported (corrected) by import have different data saved in the database
the first product from the attachment is imported and the value of the additional field is not displayed on the front end and in the back end it displays an error
the second one is corrected manually and everything is ok
the attachment presents data for two products and one of the additional fields which is affected by the bug,
the problem also concerns other fields but in this example you can clearly see the difference in the data recording
(SELECT * FROM `#_virtuemart_product_customfields` WHERE (`virtuemart_product_id` = 51831 or `virtuemart_product_id` = 51829) and `virtuemart_custom_id` = 15; )

We are looking into the problem to see which change caused this. Just a question I have, are you using the default VirtueMart custom fields or are you using any plugin that creates these custom fields, for example the Breakdesign extension Custom Field for All?
For further checking, please post an example of a custom field that no longer imports correctly. By example I mean the settings of this custom field? That will help me to reproduce and identify the issue.

sorry for only replying now. I'm currently on vacation. I'll investigate this next week.
Generally, I only imported custom fields from virtuemart. I also did a test import for a single field. The result was always the same.

in my case there were two types of fields in the file: standard fields available in Virtuemart and fields added by Custom Field for All extension by Breakdesign.
The problem occurred in the case of standard fields only.
The difference in how the fields were given in the csv file was that:
- standard fields available in Virtuemart were added as separate columns with a header corresponding to the field name,
- fields added by Breakdesign extension Custom Field for All were added in columns: custom_title, custom_value, custom_param and custom_price.
I changed the way I have scv files generated from another system so that all fields are added in 4 columns and everything is ok now.

Glad to hear your issue is resolved but I am still a bit confused. You sorted your problem by putting all values in the custom_title, custom_value, custom_param and custom_price columns?
Having the way you described with standard fields as regular columns and breakdesign as custom_ fields should be fine. Once I understand how you have done it now, we can check why it would not work the way you described.

We have a product that has 4 features defined in CF4All type fields, they are:

- Moc 55/45/20 [W] (i.e. power for specific parameters) - this is a new feature added during this import
each of these features accepts only integers as values

if I want to add value 318 to the last field in the file (Moc 55/45/20 [W]), the script adds this value to the first field (height) or another in which such a value is already defined

I once had a similar problem, but all I had to do was save a CSV file with forced UTF-8 formatting. Additionally, try to use string delimiters for each field - preferably a character that you do not use anywhere in the content. then you can be sure that the structure will be as it should be
