Resolved VM3 Shipping Rate Cost not Imported

Hi Roland,

Noted that the shipping rate cost is not properly imported for VM3.

See attached

The shipment_params in _virtuemart_shipmentmethods looks like:

shipment_logos=["tnt-economy-logo.jpg"]|weight_start="12,001"|weight_stop="13,000"|weight_unit="KG"|cost="75,00"|tax_id="3"|

while when saving manually, the shipment_params in _virtuemart_shipmentmethods looks like:

shipment_logos=[
"tnt-express-logo.jpg"
]|show_on_pdetails="1"|countries=""|zip_start=""|zip_stop=""|weight_start="0.000"|weight_stop="1.000"|weight_unit="KG"|nbproducts_start=0|nbproducts_stop=0|orderamount_start=""|orderamount_stop=""|shipment_cost="75,00"|package_fee=""|tax_id="3"|free_shipment=""|

It seems that the "cost=" should be "shipment_cost="

And maybe it is advisable CSVI to fill the missing params also :)

Would appreciate your feedback.

Hello Chris,

You have dug up yet another field that has it's name changed. So I have fixed the name of this field and as per your suggestion, all fields should now be stored for the shipment_params.

Load the patch file and run the update available fields after that to get the new fieldnames. Run your import after that.

The shipment_cost is now stored properly :)

For the updating of shipment_params, it is not working when updating an existing shipment methods. Have not tested it with new shipment methods though.

Hi Roland,

It means that when updating an existing shipment method is it not filling all the param values. I need to check the behaviour when importing new (not existing) shipping rates.

it should set all the param values regardless of it being new or existing. You don't see this happening?

Sorry for my late reply on this, no the param values are not set when you update an existing method.

Can you post a debug log of your import? I can't reproduce it. Every update run it updates the shipment_params field.The patch has also been installed?
