Resolved VM3 Remove Product Prices for a Manufacturer

Hello Chris,
Please load the attached patch file from CSVI maintenance menu and then you should be seeing an option to select a manufacturer to empty VirtueMart product prices. If no manufacturer is selected and set to default, all product prices will be emptied. Test it and let me know how it goes.

Isn't this just a nightmare :silly:

So would appreciate if you could advise whether it is possible to add the Manufacturer filter in the Remove Product Prices.

Managing thousands of prices can become a nightmare to be honest, and if you make adjustments manually in the meantime in VM, CSVI cannot find the price anymore to delete, so it can easily become messy (like in my case)

So would appreciate if you could advise whether it is possible to add the Manufacturer filter in the Remove Product Prices.

We don't have any option to delete price by manufacturer in VirtueMart maintenance section but you can delete a price of a particular product by doing VirtueMart Product Price import operation and by adding field price_delete with value set to Y. Of course this import also needs few required fields so CSVI can get the matching price row from database which are explained in the VirtueMart price import document and in the Example section. Let me know if that helps.
