Resolved VM3 Delete all prices for a product when uploading new ones.

Hello Chris,
There is already an option to remove product prices in CSVI Maintenance page, Go to the maintenance page, in the first option select VirtueMart and in the second option select Remove product prices. Select manufacturer for the products you need to delete the prices and click Continue. If you do not select any manufacturer, prices for all products will be deleted.

In case you are looking at removing prices for specific products you can use product_sku field along with price_delete field value set to Y in VirtueMart price import and remove the products existing price.

"Remove product prices" won't help as it is for mass deletion.

price_delete field is a problem also if you have done manually changes in VM in the prices, you lose track after awhile and you also might need multiple imports to get it right at the end, can easily become a nightmare. We manage thousands of products and we don't find this field very useful in our case.

We just need a simple deletion of all prices of a product when importing new prices for it. Hope that would be possible.

Hello Chris,
We have added the feature to delete the existing prices for a product with the attached patch file. Please do the following

1. Load the attached patch file as explained in the document here.
2. Reset your tasks as explained in the document here
3. In your VirtueMart price import template you would see a new tab Options for setting Delete Existing prices, set it to Yes and run the import and check.

Seems to be working nicely, except the fact that it only imports 1 price per product and ignores all others.

See attached sample import file, it only imports the first price, the 2nd is ignored.

Would appreciate your feedback.

I see the issue why only one product has been added, when multiple prices are imported for a product, it deleted the previous entered value for a product with Delete existing prices set to Yes. The delete should happen for a product only once and that is fixed with the new patch file. Can you try to load the modified patch file and let me know how it goes?
