Hello RolandD,

Joomla 3.4

I'm trying to import calculation rules and assign them to shopper group and manufacturer. I'm getting following error while importing:

and some not helpful logs:

Hello Chris,

Nothing you did wrong, I found out that a folder has changed it's name between Joomla 3.3 and Joomla 3.4. Apparantly CSVI can't find the right files :)

The attached file deals with this change, you can load the patch file and after that the import should run.

Hi,

still I'm having some issues. I can't import rules which have the same values but for different manufacturers and shopper groups. For example I have DBTax -25% for manufacturer A, and DBTax -25% for manufacturer B. Import doesn't create two rules but one (first) and then the second is overriding the first one.

I looked into logs and I think log entry below is showing why this is happening.

2015-03-02 13:14:36 2 [DEBUG] COM_CSVI_CHECK_CALC_EXISTS
2015-03-02 13:14:36 2 [QUERY] SELECT `virtuemart_calc_id` FROM `km_virtuemart_calcs` WHERE `calc_kind` = 'DBTax' AND `calc_value_mathop` = '-%' AND `calc_value` BETWEEN '24.99' AND '25.01' AND publish_up = '0000-00-00 00:00:00' AND publish_down = '0000-00-00 00:00:00'

What do you think Roland?

Best regards,
Chris

Hello Chris,

I think you hit the nail right on it's head. It is a scenario I have not thought of and I took a quick look but there is no quick fix (read: 5 minutes) so I will need to dig a little deeper into this. Once I have done that I will get back to you.
Kind regards,

RolandD

Hi RolandD,

any updates on this? Or maybe it's already fixed in new CSVI Pro 6 beta 3?

Best regards,
Chris

Hello Chris,

The changes are not in beta 3 but I have been coding them on the plane ride on my way to the Joomla Day Boston. So I believe the changes are pretty much done, however I need to do a bit more checking and will send you a patch when ready. Almost there but not quite yet.
Kind regards,

RolandD

Hello Chris,

I have just published a new update for the VirtueMart addon for CSVI 6. You can install that on top of the existing one and it will now also update the tasks and available fields upon installation.

What has changed? In your calculation rule import template there is a new option to select which fields should be used to check if a calculation rule exists. You will need to set this to the fields you want checked. This option is available after clicking the Advanced button in your template.

Let me know how it goes.
Kind regards,

RolandD

Hi,

my issue has been solved by this update. I choose "shoppergroups" as selector and import went well. Thank you very much Roland for this, as you probably know, great job! :woohoo:

Best regards,
Chris
