I am planning a migration from VM to Hikashop. I have 15 years of history, childproducts, Customfields4All. Is there a description/manual availalbe on how to perform a migration of all data like:
-customer data
-order history
-products
To migrate data from VirtueMart to HikaShop check
Export VirtueMart data and import into HikaShop document.
-additional non-VM native data like CustomFields4All.
We do not have any specific document on migrating Customfieldsforall to HikaShop but you need to import CF4ALL fields as HikaShop Variants. Check
import HikaShop Variants document.
With the following steps you should be able to import Customfieldsforall as HikaShop Variants.
1. Export CF4ALL as individual template fields using VirtueMart Product export.
2. Map CF4ALL fields to HikaShop characteristics fields in HikaShop Import template.
3. Using RO CSVI rules add value for product_type field as main and variant based on product_parent_code value.
4. Run the import with export file from VirtueMart Product export.
