Does not work when importing products in Virtuemart to use the table headers as configuration.
In the settings tried such variants:

1)
Use file for configuration = YES
Skip first line = NO
Result: "No supported fields have been found in the import file"

2)
Use file for configuration = NO
Skip first line = YES
Result: the fields is not mapped, the component does not see the first row as the fields headers
In the end - column is mapped incorrectly, without considering the headers.

3)
Use file for configuration = YES
Skip first line = YES
Result: You cannot save such a combination, although it is in the template "Example VirtueMart Product import".
However, this template also does not recognize the field.

CSVI on the old site fine recognizes headers. Tell me - what am I doing wrong?

Hello Alex,

Please post a sample of the file you are importing so I can check the file myself. You may want to check how the delimiters are set in your file and in the template. If Auto-detect doesn't work, set it to not Auto-detect and specify your own delimiters in the template. This could help.
Kind regards,

RolandD

The fields are separated correctly and are read correctly. But are not mapped to fields in the database. The names of the fields I took from the export file, that is, they are completely identical.

I managed to do the import manually by putting each field in a strict order as they are in my file. But this is a complicated process, I often make and import files of different configurations. To build it manually - so sooner or later I will accidentally mess up my whole database.

The example of import file is in the attachment.

Also I don't fully understand - how to import images. Before I imported the file names and just write the files to the server via FTP. Now in the export file the file names are present in the import file cannot withdraw them, in the field list, this field is not present.

Hello,

Let's take one problem at a time.

I often make and import files of different configurations. To build it manually - so sooner or later I will accidentally mess up my whole database.
I can't help you with this if you don't provide me with the requested information. There are no issues with the auto-configuration in CSVI, so we need to check why it doesn't work in your case. I can only do that with the information requested under Looking for a useful answer? at the top of this page.

If you want to go with your own solution that is fine but I can't help you with that.

As for the images, please make a new topic about that otherwise we will be confused. You will need to use the field file_url for the images.
Kind regards,

RolandD

You mean the import file? I already sent it to you in my last letter.

About automatic configuration - we may not understand each other. I just meant that when you import CSVI needs to map the columns by their name in the first line. That is in the import file column can be in any order, or some columns may be missing. It works in the old version of CSVI and Virtuemart.

About images - got it, thanks.

Hello,

Now reading back what you wrote I see we had some misunderstanding. I understand now that you added the fields to your import template, that is how you imported the data. Correct? You don't want to add the fields but just use the column headers with the XLS file. Correct?

If so, then we are on the right track. I am going to test with your XLS file and see what happens here.
Kind regards,

RolandD

Hello,

With your file I was able to reproduce the issue. I have created a patch for you that fixes the problem. Can you load the patch and let me know how it goes?

At first, everything worked fine. List all the columns correctly (in the preview).
I changed the column order - they are all correctly determined

But when importing an error occurred:
An error has occured during the import. Below the information received from the server.
