Resolved Virtuemart Product Import

Hi,

I am using CSVI to import products into Virtuemart. Everything seems to work fine except Category, Sales price and Images. The images load but they are blank and the thumbnails aren’t created. Also Category doesn’t assigned despite being in the file.
My image source is an external URL, I am not sure if that has anything to do with it. I am assuming that I have the settings wrongs I have attached a picture of my image settings, as well as a copy of one of my import files.
I have tried giving category_name and salesprice a new name in the template and I have tried it without giving it a new name, the result is the same. I am not sure what I am doing wrong.
I am using version: 6.5.7.

Hello,
Please update to latest CSVI version, that should fix all of your image issues. There has been a lot of improvements done for image processing from previous versions. If you still have any issues, post the debug log of the latest import along with sample import file to check.

Hello,
For category you need to use category_path field, we don't support category_name field in import. For the price it should be product_price and not salesprice. Please have a look at VirtueMart product document to know on the fields available for product import. Regarding the image you have not posted the screenshot of full settings. You can see the full settings by clicking on Advanced button on top right corner. It would be better if you can post us your debug log of the import so we get all the information on your import. To know on how to get the debug log check Where to get the debug information? section on top of this page.

Also, i am not sure why you are using CSVI 6.5.7 version as the current running version is 7.0.1. It is always recommended to keep the extensions up to date.
