Resolved Virtuemart Not Importing Prices

Ok so,

Battled with this all day yesterday to no avail. I managed to import my customers product categories and products, but when I import the products the prices do not load.

Vituemart Version: VirtueMart 3.0.8
CSVI Version: CSVI Pro 5.21.2
Joomla Version: 3.4.1
PHP Version: 5.5.24

Have attached debug and import file(s). I have tried many different import methods going through the forums but nothing updates any prices. I am new to both CSVI and Virtuemart.

Have added a couple of the files I have tried. When I tried it with quantities for pricing e.g. 1 - 1000 it added a new pricing structure in VM but did not load the prices. i.e. "all users, for 1-1000" but price still "$0.00".

Fast help would be much appreciated.

Hello Daryn,

There are several things that need fixing. Your file newprice.csv has more columns than your template, so the new price is not being used. As your files already have the CSVI fieldnames as the header you can change the template option Use headers/nodes as configuration to Yes and Skip first line to No. That fixes the problem with the fieldnames.

The second issue is the price has the currency symbol, the price should be without the currency symbol. You can either change your CSV file or use a replacement rule to strip it during import.

After making these changes, your import should be good to go.
