Good Day,

My question is if I can assign multiple categories per single product.
For example I've got a product "Bacon Cheese" in category "Dairy/Cheese" BUT I also want this product to be in category "Breadspread/Cheese" and have got a few more of these situations.
Ideally I don't want to create 2 exactly the same products in my excel spreadsheets that I'm importing via CSVI Pro, updating-wise this is quite annoying.
I hope this is possible, or some sort of alias (but to me the alias field is only meant to give a product a different URL than the title?)

So I would like to assign category 1 AND 2 to the same product in VirtueMart.

Best regards, Ray

Hello Ray,
You can import multiple categories for a product by setting category_path as category1|category2|category3 So your case would be Dairy/Cheese|Breadspread/Cheese. Try and let me know.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Thank you very much for the quick reply.

That is exactly whta I was after... multiple categories per product.
When I'm done creating my product databse I'll start testing.

Thanks again!
