Hi,

I am having some issues with the virtuemart export / import. I have managed to fix the export, however I have custom fields that are not exporting properly, as they are put in a different column, so messes up any file I want to import. Perhaps I am doing this wrong, but I have spent the entire day searching the forum, and trial and error.... with no luck, and sometimes my export only exports 2 lines.

Secondly the import simply fails, how do I set the import to update? I have a mass of products I want to update at once, however it fails with the following error: on the php <?php die('Forbidden.'); ?>

I have even disabled Akeeba Admin Tools, and still no luck? Is there a better tutorial, as the tutoials I have found do not show how to work with custom fields and setting a delimeter for it etc?

Hello,

however I have custom fields that are not exporting properly, as they are put in a different column, so messes up any file I want to import.
This usually means you have not set a text enclosure. In your export template make sure you set the field delimiter to a comma ( , ) or semi-colon ( ; ) and the text enclosure to a double-quote ( " ), then at least you will get a valid CSV file.

however it fails with the following error: on the php <?php die('Forbidden.'); ?>
Not sure what you mean here. I think the issue comes from an incorrect file.

I have found do not show how to work with custom fields
Have a look at the Custom fields import and export document.
Kind regards,
