Is it possible for ROCSVI to change the TITLE of an article from the import? I know it uses the title as an 'identifier', so I wasn't sure if this could be done.

The reason why is we run this import every day, from a feed, although authors can edit their own articles (their profiles) we do not want them changing there 'title field' because we use that to sort the data. I don't think I can limit an author from editing their own title, so what we can do is to if they do change their title, 'reset it' using the import.

Hello Laura,

You can update the title of an article. There are two ways to do this:

  • Import using the article IDs and the title field
  • Import using alias, category_path and title field.
The title is not a required field in both these cases but by adding them it will be updated.
