Resolved Update custom fields for existing products only (VM).

We have a source CSV with product SKUs, and custom field columns.

We want to use it to update the custom fields in our store, with the new ones specified in the CSV. (without affecting the other fields)

The source CSV contains more products than in our website, but we do not want any new products created because of that.

However, when we tried to import the file, there seems to be new product entries created in the database.
We figured out because after the import, there are more product entries than we have translations for (see screenshot).

Hello,

You can use RO CSVI Skip template field to ignore other fields other than custom fields.

However, when we tried to import the file, there seems to be new product entries created in the database.
We figured out because after the import, there are more product entries than we have translations for (see screenshot).

In your import template on File tab set Skip new items to Yes, save the template. This setting will only update the existing products and won't create any new products.
