The fix for this issue has been included in RO CSVI 7.17.0 version. Did you also update RO CSVI VirtueMart addon to 7.17.0 version?

If you have updated your RO CSVI VirtueMart addon and you still have this error, can you tell me which export you are running?

Please help I saw other topic with this error https://rolandd.com/support/ro-csvi/unknown-column-c-category-parent-id-in-field-list but it is password protected, so I could not read it.

If you login into the site you should be able to read the post.

Yes, the VM addon was updated before the error. I run a Product Export. I can not see the post, although I am logged in the site, I think that the author had protected his post.

I have ROCSV on other site with version 7.16 and did not have this error.

I see you are using VirtueMart 3.6 version. Can you check two things?

1. Please check if there is category_parent_id column in #__virtuemart_categories table.
2. Go to file plugins/csviaddon/virtuemart/com_virtuemart/helper/com_virtuemart.php and on line 796 remove 'c.' from 'c.category_parent_id' so it is just 'category_parent_id', save the file and run the export. See if you still get the error.

That post is set to private as user had posted his site login details. That could be the reason you are not able to access it.

That is because the fix for error Unknown column 'c.category_parent_id' in 'field list' was included in RO CSVI 7.17.0 version and was for VirtueMart 3.8 version. You must be using VirtueMart 3.6 in that site and so there is no error.

This did the work.

On the other site, where RO CSV is version 7.16, the VM version is 3.6.

So basically if you are using RO CSV 7.17, you need to have VM version 3.8 or to remove 'c.' from 'c.category_parent_id' in line 796 in plugins/csviaddon/virtuemart/com_virtuemart/helper/com_virtuemart.php file. Is it better to update VM?
