I'm currently creating an export template for some product categories in HikaShop, however I'm not able to access all of the product categories I have. Currently I have two grouping categories setup, Group A and Group B, which have various other categories nested under them. The problem I'm running into is that Group A is being treated as the root for all my categories by CSVI, so I'm unable to select anything in Group B. Is there a way for me to go up a level and select things in Group B, or change the default root folder?

Hello,
Where do you see the problem of not able to select the categories? Can you post a screenshot? Also which CSVI version you are using?
Kind regards,

Tharuna

I am using version 7.5.1.

When editing the template, under the options tab I am adding categories using the category field to my export. However, the only categories available are categories under the fine coins category. I am not able to select Brand, Currency, or Rare U.S. Currency.

These are my HikaShop categories

As you can see, the only categories I'm able to add are those that are under the Fine Coins category.

Hello,

The cause of the issue is that you have redefined the categories and there is no longer a single root category. In Hikashop not only the product categories are categories but also the manufacturers for example. So CSVI is looking at the original root category and in your case that happens to be the Fine Coins.

So I have to see how to recognize these product categories and I think the only solution here is that you have to define in CSV Improved which categories are your root categories. There is I think no other way to distinct these but I need to take a closer look first.

I will get back to you on this.
Kind regards,

Hello,
We fixed the category filter to show all product categories even if the category is not defined in the root category. Can you load the attached patch file and see if it works for you?
