Resolved Unable to install CSVI pkg

Unable to install the package.
Tried both 4.4.5 and 5.1.1 - both clean, fresh installs
Tried three different browsers

index.php?option=com_installer&view=install might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble installing the package. Now the error is not familiar to me but looking around I found there are several reasons this can occur:

  • No disk space left
  • Upload file size is not big enough
  • Gzip compression on the server as enabled in the htaccess
  • CDN feature of OVH hosting is disabled but should be enabled
If this is with a hosting provider and not a local setup, you can also check with your hosting provider if they can see why you would get this message.
