Hello,
Is it possible to apply two or more rules in a field?
I create 2 rules:
- The first one is a conditionnal rule. If a field empty the replace with a value from another field.
- The second rule is a Multireplace rule. I set it to uppercase.
If I apply the two rules on a field, the conditionnal rule works but not the Multireplace rule.
thanks for your reply.

Hello Stanley,
You did not tell me what you see in company field in export file. The order of the rules applied is wrong as per your screenshot. You should have conditional rule applied first and then Multi replace rule for Uppercase. Text can be converted to upper case only after it has been updated to company field. See the attached screenshot. You can change the order of the rules by applying an order in Ordering field in RO CSVI Rules page for these two rules.
If you still have problem post the template XML to check. To get your template XML file, in RO CSVI maintenance menu select RO CSVI on first option, backup templates on second option, select your template and download the XML file. Post the XML file.
What I want to do is: If the company field is empty then replace by field full_name then change the content of the field in uppercase.

Hello Tharuna,
Sorry for the very very late reply.
In RO CSVI Template fields page, I see both the rules in the field.
See attached the screenshot of both rules.
This is not an import I am trying to achive but an export. I try to export users from Virtuemart.
What I want to do is: If the company field is empty then replace by field full_name then change the content of the field in uppercase.
Thanks

Hello Stanley,
Yes you can apply multiple rules on one field. When you edit the field from RO CSVI Template fields page, do you see both of the rules selected in Rules field? Can you post screenshot of both of your rules? Also can you post screenshot of import preview page for the field and explain on what you expect to see with the rules?
