Hello,
unfortunately I updated Virtuemart to version 4.0.6.

Now I have a problem with German umlauts. They are now written to the database as HTML entities. As soon as I export the customer data, the umlauts come as HTML in the XML file.

I tried to solve the problem with a rule - unfortunately without success.

Can you help me please?

Greetings Manuela

Hello Manuela,

What is saved in database is what export gets.

I tried to solve the problem with a rule - unfortunately without success.

The Multi replace rule should work. Please send me the template XML file to check. To get the template XML file, in RO CSVI maintenance menu select RO CSVI on first option, backup templates on second option, select the export template and download the XML file. Post the XML file.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello Manuela,
Thank you for sending the requested file. Running export with sample content on my local site and with your template, I don't see any problem with the rule. Can you send me sample content which I can use to test the rule?
Kind regards,

Tharuna
