Hello,
When csvi creates thumbnails, some of them seem to be deformed, because not all of the big images are of the same size.
Is there something I can do that fix that problem?
Thanks
Best Regards,
Kostas

Hello Kostas,
In your import template settings on Images tab you can set the width and height of the Thumbnail under Thumb image options. If you don't see all the options click on Advanced button on top.
Kind regards,

Tharuna

Hello Tharuna,
the resault is not good.
Is there any option of applying a percentage size of the big image dimensions on thumbnails?
Thanks

Hey Kostas,

There is no option to apply a percentage for creating a thumbnail. The width and height you enter in the settings are not absolute values either but these are maximum sizes. CSVI will check if either width or height value is reached first and stop there, that is so it keeps the ratio of the original image. This is to prevent distortion of the image. If you want clearer thumbnails you are going to need better full images.

Using PHP for resizing images won't give you the same quality as when you use a dedicated program like Photoshop. If you want good looking thumbnails, you should be using a dedicated program. PHP can't beat that.
Kind regards,
