Hello,

does anyone have an idea why a


<hr id="system-readmore" />


is inserted into the top of the fulltext field of Joomla when importing text, which does not appear in the text?

Hello Thomas,
There is nothing added automatically on import. The text in import file is what imported to database. Please post import debug log and import file to check. To get the debug log see How to collect debug information? document.

Hi Thomas,

If you import both introtext and fulltext Joomla will add a readmore because the fulltext is only shown after the readmore is clicked. The introtext usually contains the full text to display. If you have no special reason to have text in the fulltext field I would recommend only importing the introtext. This is a relic from the Joomla 1.0 days :D
