Hi,

I'm using CSVI Pro 6.6.4 on Joomla! 3.6.4.

I created a template and wanted to upload the attached file with 1500 products.

After 2-5 Seconds the Import just stops without a reason.
It just imports the first 5 Products.

The Debug and the Upload File ist attached.

As you said, it just stops, that is also what the debug log shows, the logging just stops as well. This doesn't give us any idea as to why it stops. What do you see on your screen when it stops?

One thing you can try is to go to your template, click on the Advanced button so the Limit tab appears. On the limit tab you can set the number of records per run. By default this is set to 1000, you can change this to 3 and save the template. After that run the import template again and see how it goes.

What do you see? white screen when it stops? Can you share the screenshot?

tried to set the limit to 3000. But it happens the same.

Roland told to set it as 3 and not 3000. This option is to tell CSVI to just run 3 records at a time, if you increase the number you would see the same result. Also, can you just have few records, something like 10 records initially in your import file and with number of records to 3 and try the import? See if your import gets finished.

no not eaven a white screen.
The server response Timer just freezes.

I tried the setting for 3 records and 10 seconds (Screenshot 3-10.png)
And i tried it for 1700 records and 5 seconds (Screenshot 1700-5.png)

Your server seems to hit some limit and is stopping CSVI to process further. Please check the manage timeouts document on this. Can you also check your server error logs to see if there is any error log entry for this?

But I imported on other projects much bigger files. Like 15.000 lines and so on. And it wasn't a Problem.

The limits are something to do with your server settings and has nothing to do with CSVI. What if you have only one record in your import file? does the import finish or is it the same?

I just tried. It does 3 records.

Probably it has sth to do with the combining fields?
Because, when I want to import the list with enabled "Use File for configuration" it works (ok it has other problems like the field names but it does the upload) ..

Can you send me your template XML file? To get the XML file, go to CSVI maintenance menu, select CSVI Pro in first option, backup templates in second option. Select your import template and click on continue. Post the downloaded XML file here.

The problem is with your file and not with your template, it is not UTF-8 encoded. Please check Save a CSV file as UTF-8 encoded document on this.

I have just 2 more small questions:

1 - I have the pictures for the products on the server "images/produkte"
The pictures are called after the sku + ".jpg"
How can the system automaticly assign?

2 - There is no price at the products - but when I open - I see the prices (screenshot)

There is no processing happened on images as per your debug log. In your import template settings on images tab you have set product location to be /images/produkte/, change this to images/produkte/ and save the template. Run the import after that. Note that i removed a slash at the beginning.

One question on the folder name, shouldn't the folder name be images/product/? Is the folder name for product images is in German? Another thing is that the default product image path is images/stories/virtuemart/product/, can you put the images in this default path and try the import again?

If the product price is not displayed then it has to be something to do with shopper group. You can assign the users to shopper groups from VM >> Shoppers & Orders >> Shoppers, assign the user shopper group and that should solve the issue.

One question on the folder name, shouldn't the folder name be images/product/? Is the folder name for product images is in German? Another thing is that the default product image path is images/stories/virtuemart/product/, can you put the images in this default path and try the import again?

hm .. didn't work as well.
Are my settings correct (attached)?
I changed the image location to images/stories/virtuemart/product/
