Resolved Sorting categories in VM doesn't seem to work in multi-lingual environment

Hey,
I am using csvi pro 6.6.4 with VMN 3.0.16.
If I use the Maintenance sorting option VM categories and select English, all is fine. But if I sort again on for instance German, the sorting is changed to German but also for the English languages.
I know this worked before faultless. But now it seems the last used sorting language is leading.

Are you sure? They way VirtueMart stores the categories, you can only sort based on 1 language. That is because the ordering value is stored with the language independent data.

Just try to sort 3 categories using VirtueMart itself, it is going to be one or the other way, as is the design of VirtueMart, there is nothing CSVI can do about that I am afraid.

Yes your are right. I have to solve this in another way. There is a setting 'Default category sort order' in VM Configuration -> Product Order Settings? Default is 'Ordering, Name'. Changing to 'Category Name' should sort alphabetically.
Now it works for all languages.

PS I think this default functionality has changed during one of the last VM releases, that is why I didn't noticed this behaviour before!
