Resolved [SOLVED]Different combine character at category_pa

Hi rolandd,

in one of my CSV files categories may contain the "/" character in its text. Categories exists in the CSV files as 5 separate columns (level 1 to level 5). So I changed the combine character at the rule to "|" and also the category separator in the options of the template to this character. That works - partially! The preview shows the correct category path and the products are imported. Categories are created but not as a path but each category as main category. Because of this the list of categories shows 0 products for the categories.

Is this a feature, a faulty use of CSVI or a bug?

Dear Romana,

You cannot use the pipe-symbol as separator because that is used to import a product into multiple categories. That is a feature of CSVI :)

Choose # for example as alternative category separator.
