Hi
Trying to edit a RO CSVI template and I am shown the following error:

An error has occurred.
0 strtolower(): Argument #1 ($string) must be of type string, stdClass given

I have updated the component and plugins to the latest version and I have run the Maintenance routine on the Component.

I would be grateful for your help.

Kind regards

Mike

Hello Mike,

This happens due to a change in JCE recently. The editor is taking all kinds of values from the application and assumes everything is just a word but in our case there is also a list of values in the application. Since JCE doesn't check for that you get the error that it is expecting a string but gets something else, stdClass to be precise.

What you can do is edit your profile in Joomla and choose any editor except for JCE and you can edit your templates just fine.

That is the workaround until JCE gets updated to do a proper check on the type of data it is processing.
Kind regards,

RolandD
