Yes you can. Easiest is to use the CSVI Custom table export and import. With the CSVI Custom table export you export the content of the virtuemart_products table with the fields virtuemart_product_id and product_sku. Change the values of the product_sku field to what you want them to be. After that import the updated file with the CSVI Custom table import routine.
